Hi, I'm Emi! I'm a former EMT student who likes to travel (mostly to Japan and around North America). Former, because I was forced to drop out of my EMT training due to epilepsy. I worked a brief stint as an assistant at a patent office before I began traveling. My home base is in Houston, Texas, but I spend more time away from home these days. I live (and travel) with my friend and roommate, Squiddy. I'm actually in my twenties, although I don't seem to look much like it. I'll be returning back to college sometime, once I get accepted into a good school.

I'm a learning photographer who specializes in still life photography of figures and dolls. Squiddy is an avid figure collector, so I like to practice my photography with the figures. We're also Dollfie Dream collectors and customizers, so I like taking photos of them too. Since I'm relatively new to doll photography, I'm not as good as I am with figures (which isn't saying much, lol). I also like taking photos of cityscapes and such, but since we're pretty much out in the middle of nowhere, there's not much I can do with that at the moment. Occasionally, I'll take photos of other things too.

The things I photograph don't necessarily reflect my own interests.

I almost never do post-production editing, except for the very basic auto functions. Most of the time, I'll try not to even use those. Messing around in Photoshop seems more like photomanipulation to me, so I try to do most of my effects with the camera itself.



I don't +fav or watch people very often, because I don't really like going through images and picking out ones I like. XD I get bored easily. I'm not very sociable either, unfortunately. Shyness, and a tendency to say the wrong things at the wrong time, are not good things. This does not mean I don't like you or your work, though!
